About Us -Freeman's Safari Taxidermy

Years ago I harvested a deer and took it to be mounted by a taxidermist, he told me it would be a year to get my deer head back, feeling this was unacceptable, I then decided to do it myself.

In the beginning I took home study courses and also learned by trial and error. I still attend taxidermy classes to learn new techniques.

After 43 years in the business I still love taxidermy work. I have mounted exotic animals from all over the world. The lord has blessed Sue and me with a successful business.

Over the years we have traveled and hunted in South Africa many times, and harvested over 60 animals which we have displayed in our studio.
